CITY COUNCIL <br /> PUBLIC HEARING <br />CITY OF RAMSEY <br />ANOKA COUNTY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />The Ramsey City Council conducted a public heating on Tuesday, July 31, 1990 at the Ramsey <br />Municipal Center, 15153 Nowthen Boulevard N.W., Ramsey, Minnesota regarding Modification <br />of the Development Program for Development District #1 and Modification of the Tax Increment <br />Financing Plan for Tax Increment Financing District #2. <br /> <br />Members Present: <br /> <br />Mayor Gary Reimann <br />Councilmember Stephen F. DeLuca <br />Councilmember Richard Cich <br />Councilmember Alan Pearson <br />Councilmember Kenneth Peterson (arrived 5:35 p.m.) <br /> <br />Also Present: <br /> <br />City Administrator David Hartley <br />City Engineer Steven Jankowski <br />Mr. Merland Otto/Hakanson Anderson Associates <br /> <br />CALL TO ORDER: <br /> <br />Mayor Reimann called the public hearing to order at 5:31 p.m. <br /> <br />PRESENTATION: <br /> <br />Mr. Hartley stated that the proposed modification to the Development Program for Development <br />District #1 and Tax Increment Financing Plan for Tax Increment Financing District #2 modifies the <br />budget figures to include Ramsey Investment's development of a facility for ParaBody and the <br />extension of McKinley Street N.W. Mr. Hartley stated that there will be sufficient tax increment <br />revenue generated to cover the cost of both of these projects. Mr. Hartley noted that it is proposed <br />to fund these projects internally through the Landfill Trust Fund and not issue debt; the tax <br />increment revenue generated would pay back the cost plus interest. <br /> <br />CITIZEN INPUT: <br /> <br />None <br /> <br />ADJOURNMENT: <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember DeLuca and seconded by Councilmember Peterson to adjourn the <br />public hearing. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Reimann, Councilmember DeLuca, Peterson, C/ch and <br />Pearson.
