plat filing period for a period of two years from the date of final plat approval. This is general}y in <br />conformance with the State Statutes on this subject. The ordinance concerning site plans requires <br />the applicant to sign the development contract within 120 days of Council approval. There is no <br />State Statute governing this requirement, however, during discussion on October 23, 1990,. it was <br />determined that this would be an appropriate period of nme for the developer to accomplish this <br />task. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Cich and seconded by Councilmember DeLuca to introduce Ordinance <br />#90-XX which is an ordinance amending Sections 170.0310A and 170.0310C of' the City <br />Subdivision Code relating to the time periods for filing of prehminary plats and final plats. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Reimann, Councilmembers Cich, DeLuca, Pearson and <br />Peterson. Voting No: None, <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Pearson and seconded by Councitmember Cich to introduce Ordinance <br />~/90-XX which is an ordinance requiring that site plan development contracts be si~ed within 120 <br />days of site/design approval and to direct City Attorney to amend proposed ordinance to provide <br />for extensions for the execution of site plan development permits. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />Case #7: Introduction of Ordinance Amending Licensing Provisions of the <br /> City Code <br /> <br />City Administrator David Harfley asked that this case be tabled because he and City Attorney <br />Good.rich would like to make a couple provisions before it is presented to the City Council. <br /> <br />Motion bv Councilmember Cich and seconded by Councilmember Pearson to table the introduction <br />of an ordinance amending Chapter 7 of the City Code. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Reimann, Councilmembers Cich, Pearson, DeLuca and <br />Peterson. voting No: None. <br /> <br />Case #8: Charter Commission Appointments <br /> <br />City Administrator, David Harfley stated that of the members of the Charter Commission, five have <br />terms that expired on May 1t, 1989. The remaining four have terms expiring on May 11, 1991. <br />He stated there had been an advertisement for applicants placed in the Ramsey Resident last <br />September, but no applications were received. He explained that state law states a person can only <br />serve two terms. <br /> <br />Upon inquiry, Mr. Goodr/ch answered that he wasn't sure if it meant just two terms or if it meant <br />two consecutive terms. <br /> <br />Counciimem~r DeLuga asked what would happen if no one wants to serve on the Cornmission. <br /> <br />.~L-'.
