10. <br /> <br />12. <br /> <br />13. <br /> <br />14. <br /> <br />15. <br /> <br />16. <br /> <br />17. <br /> <br />18. <br /> <br />19. <br /> <br />20. <br /> <br />21. <br /> <br />That a WMMI recycling center is located approximately three <br />fourths of a mile north of this site which provides recycling <br />drop off for miscellaneous metals, aluminum, glass and <br />newspaper. <br /> <br />That a conditional use permit has been issued in the City of <br />Ramsey~ a ~.~.~~-~ ...... -~ for an aluminum processing facility <br />at 14050 Basalt Street N W. <br /> <br />That the current business has operated for eleven years on <br />undeveloped land in the city of Anoka on the former H&S <br />property without a Conditional Use Permit. <br /> <br />That the Applicant indicates that the property is well suited <br />to his needs due to its close proximity to the landfill and <br />large supply of methane gas. <br /> <br />That the Applicant states that the production level is <br />estimated to be an average of 10,000 lbs. of aluminum per day. <br /> <br />That the Applicant has identified operating equipment as two <br />melt furnaces, conveyors, small skid-type loader, forklifts, <br />backhoe tractor and Series 300 crane with magnet. <br /> <br />That the Applicant has designated an Area A and Area B on the <br />site plan submitted October 16, 1990. <br /> <br />That the Applicant has indicated that purchasing of material, <br />receiving and weighing materials and customer parking would <br />occur in Area A. Further that some material would be stored <br />in Area A until suitable material volume is achieved at which <br />time it would be moved to Area B by forklift. <br /> <br />That the Applicant has indicated that production, recovery and <br />storage would occur in Area B of the site but would not <br />necessarily be confined to a building. Further, that Area B <br />would be separated from Area A by a screened security fence <br />and gate. <br /> <br />That the Applicant's site plan indicates that all drives and <br />parking in Area A will be hard surfaced. <br /> <br />That the Applicant's site plan indicates that drives, storage, <br />maneuvering areas and employee parking are proposed to be <br /> <br /> <br />
