That WMMI has stated that its.tire processor will shred waste <br /> automobile tires at the rate of approximately 1200 per hours and <br /> waste oversized tires at the rate'of 300 per hour; that the tires <br /> will be shred into squares and that the shredded tires will then <br /> be transported to a manufacturing~~~=~+~ in Wisconsin where they <br /> will be combined with coal and used as a fuel. <br /> <br />33. That ~I is not applying for a "Tire Collection" use or "Tire <br /> Dump" use on the Parcel of Record as defined by MSA 115A.90. <br /> <br />34. That WMMI is applying for a "Tire Processor" use of the property <br /> as defined by MSA 115A.90. <br /> <br />35. That WM~I is requesting a maximum three (3) year term for this <br /> CUP. <br /> <br />3~. That the proposed facility will be open to the public during <br /> normal landfill operating hours. <br /> <br />3?° That WMMI states that existing screening on the north and east <br /> sides of the site will screen processing operations from public <br /> .view. <br /> <br />38. That Wq~4I has stated there will be additional truck traffic to the <br /> site consisting of approximately 12 trips per day. <br /> <br />39. That historical records indicate that landfill induced traffic <br /> within the City is adequately served by Highway 10 and Sunfish <br /> Lake Blvd. and that accident records indicate no undue safety <br /> concerns regarding access/egress to/from the site. <br /> <br />40. That the proposed use will not be unduly dangerous to persons <br /> residing or working in the vicinity of the use, or to the public <br /> welfare. <br /> <br />41~ That the proposed use will not be detrimental to persons <br /> residing or working in the vicinity of the use, or to the public <br /> welfare. <br /> <br />42. That the proposed use will not substantially adversely impair the <br /> use of surrounding property if adequate screening is provided and <br /> hours of operation are limited. <br /> <br />43° That the proposed use will not substantially adversely impair the <br /> enjoyment of surrounding property. <br /> <br />44. That the proposed use will be harmonious with and in accordance <br /> with the specific objectives of the Comprehensive Plan. <br /> <br />45° That the proposed use will be designed, constructed, operated and <br /> maintained so as to be harmonious and appropriate in appearance <br /> with the existing or intended character of the general vicinity. <br /> <br />46° That the proposed use will change the essential character of the <br /> ~res. <br /> <br />4 <br /> <br /> <br />
