Award Contract For River's Bend Park Improvement Project <br />#89-I: <br /> <br />Mr. Otv recalled that the City has been delaying contract award for the River's Bend Park <br />Improvement project pending A':aka County's receipt of necessary permits for the Rum <br />River Bridge prq¢~ct. The Count)' has revis~ the bridge project and received the necessary <br />permits. The revision to the bridge project does allow for an access to River's Bend Park <br />South. <br /> <br />Motion bv Councilmember Cich and seconded by Councilmember DeLuca to adopt <br />Resolution, #89-06-132 awardi~g a contract to Buck Blacktop, Inc. for the River's Bend <br />Park South Development contingent upon the mechanics of the County's permitting for the <br />Rum River Bridge project being finalized. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Reimann, Councilmembers DeLuca, Pearson, Cich <br />and Peterson. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />Case #6: Northfork Easement Vacation: <br /> <br />City Attorney Goodrich noted that the proposed resolution to vacate easements in <br />Northfork has been revised from what was included in Council's agenda packet. Council <br />was provided with copies of the most recent version of the proposed resolution. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember DeLuca and seconded by Councilmember Pearson to adopt <br />Resolution #89-06-133 which is a resolution vacating certain easements within the <br />Northfork Planned Unit Developm:nt, and directing the City Clerk/Administrator to file a <br />Notice of Completion of the proceeding with the County Auditor. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Reimann, Councilmembers DeLuca, Pearson, Cich <br />and Peterson. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />Case #7: <br /> <br />Authorize Purchase Of Tot Lot/Playground Equipment For City <br />Parks: <br /> <br />Mr. Otto noted that the 1989 Parks Capital Improvements Budget included $15,600 for <br />play~ound equipment. Mr. Otto presented proposed resolutions for the purchase of <br />play~ound equipment based on the recommendations of the Park & Recreation <br />Commission. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember DeLuca and seconded by Councilmember Cich to adopt <br />Resolution #89-06-134 authorizing the purchase of park equipment for Pdver's Bend Park. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Reimann, Councilmembers DeLuca, Pearson, Cick. <br />and Peterson. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember DeLuca and seconded by Councilmember Cich to adopt <br />Resolution #89-06-135 authorizing the purchase of park equipment for Titterud Park. <br /> <br />Motion carried.
