Jean Schlueter - Inquired as to how the residents can comment at this public hearing on a
project for which there are no final plans yet.

Mr. Hartley replied that the feasibility study has been prepared which generally outlines thc
improvements; the questions that have been raised are relevant and aid in the design of a
project that will have the least impact on the residents. It is not practical or required to
prepare complete design plans before the public hearing on a project.

Jean Schlueter - Referred to the vacant lot in Rum Acres Estates currently used as a
drainage area and proposed to be part of the storm sewer improvements and inquired as to
the implications for future use of that lot as far as it's accessibility to sewer and water.

Mr. Hartley stated that the lot to which Jean Schlueter refers would have to follow the same
procedures that apply to any other public improvements in order to have municipal services.
Mr. Hardey noted that utilities are not being stubbed into this subject area.

Dick Knutson - Stated that the lot to which Jean Schlueter refers could not be served by
municipal services without approaching Metro Council for an amendment to the MUSA
boundary.

Lynn Rickert - 15231 Waco Street - Stated that she should not have to contend with the
dust and dirt in her home resulting from the development of Juniper Woods; the developer
should pave the entire street of Juniper Woods Drive at the onset of Phase 7I to provide
access for construction and new resident ~raffic. Inquired as to how much it would cost the
developer to provide for a temporary paving of Juniper Woods Drive.

Mr. Raatikka estimated that it would cost $12,000 to provide temporary paving of Juniper
Woods Drive.

Mr. Hartley noted that earlier this evening during the special meeting, Mr. Knutson had
requested tabling final plat approval of Juniper Woods; at this time, the developer has
indicated that he is willing to provide for temporary paving to 153rd and is requesting that
his request for final plat approval be acted upon following this public hearing.

Sue Damyanovich - Stated that it should be stipulated that Waco Street, 151st and Juniper
Ridge Drive will not be accessible until Juniper Woods Drive is paved to 153rd.

ADJOURNMENT

Motion by Councilmember DeLuca and seconded by Councilmember Peterson to adjourn
the public hearing.

Motion carried.
