Case # 11 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION ENTERING INTO <br />COOPERATIVE AGREEMENT NO. 65642 WITH <br />MN/DOT FOR CONSTRUCTION OF THE <br />INTERSECTION OF 153RD AND T.H. NO. 10 <br />By: Pete Raatikka, city Engineer <br /> <br />Background: <br /> <br />On September 13, 1988, City Council passed a resolution requesting <br />cooperative funds from Mn/DOT for a median crossing at T.H. No. 10 <br />and 153rd Avenue N.W. <br /> <br />We have prepared plans which have been approved by Mn/DOT. We have <br />also received a resolution for adoption by the City of Ramsey which <br />provides for payment by Mn/DOT and authorizes and directs the <br />proper City officers to execute the Cooperative Construction <br />Agreement (Agreement No. 65642). <br /> <br />Upon execution of the agreement by all parties, the City will be <br />authorized to receive bids for the project. The cooperative <br />agreement portion of the project will be constructed jointly with <br />the City's MSAS project which will connect 153rd Avenue from Andrie <br />Street to T.H. No. 10. <br /> <br />Enclosed is a copy of the resolution authorizing and directing the <br />proper City officers to execute the agreement and a copy of the <br />Cooperative Construction Agreement No. 65642. <br /> <br />Recommendation: <br /> <br />I recommend the City Council adopt the resolution submitted by <br />Mn/DOT and enter into the Cooperative Construction Agreement No. <br />65642. <br /> <br />Council Action: <br /> <br />Adopt resolution to enter into Agreement No. 65642 with the State <br />of Minnesota, Department of Transportation to obtain payment of the <br />State's share of the costs of the turn lane and median crossover <br />construction at T.H.
