Plan)

III. THE EXTENT TO WHICH THE ENVIRONMENTAL EFFECTS ARE SUBJECT TO
MITIGATION BY ON-GOING PUBLIC REGULATORY AUTHORITY

This project is subject to an MPCA sewer extension permit.
DNR permits to appropriate waters and alter wetlands, and the
review and approval of the public water main extensions by the
Minnesota Department of Health.

The major issue with this project is the alteration of wetlnd
No. 2-116W and its ponding capacity. The developer will leave
the vegetation undisturbed and keep developing units as far
back as possible from the wetlands. The alteration of the
wetland will result in increased ponding capacity and drainage
patterns will be maintained to minimize impacts.
