Councilmen%ber moved for its adoption: introduced the following resolution and RESOLUTION ~89-06- RESOLUTION AWARDING CO~TRACT FOR THE RIVER'S BEND PARK SOUTH DEVELOPMENT IMPROVEMENT PROJECT 89-1 WHEREAS, pursuant to an advertisement for bids for the River's Bend Park South Development (Project 89-1) bids were received, opened and tabulated according to law, and the bids were received by City Council resolution ~89-04-69 on April 11, 1989 complying with the advertisement. AND WHEREAS, it appears that Buck Blacktop, Inc. of St. Paul, Minnesota was the lowest responsible bidder in the amount of $101,555.55, AND WHEREAS, The City Administrator/Clerk was authorized and directed to return forthwith to all bidders the deposits made with their bids, except that the deposits of the successful bidder and next lowest bidder shall be retained until a contract has been signed. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: 1) That the Mayor and City Administrator/Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to enter into a contract with Buck Blacktop, !nc. of St. Paul, Minnesota in the name of the city of Ramsey for the River's Bend Park South Development Project according to the plans and specifications therefore approved by the Ramsey city Council and on file in the office of the City Administrator/Clerk. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Counciimember and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: and the following voted against the same: and the following abstained: and the following were absent: whereupon said resolution was ae~_a~ed duly oassed and adopted by the Ramse_v City Council %his the !3th day of June, 1989.
