Creation. The Ramsey BUilding Code Board of Appeals is created <br />pursuant to Section 204 of the Building Code of the City of Ramsey adopted by Ramsey Code of <br />Ordinances, Section 150, and is hereinafter referred to as the "Board". <br /> <br /> Section 10.81.2. Membership, The Board is composed of five (5) members appointed <br />by the Mayor and approved by the City Council. The Community Development Director and the <br />Building Official serve as ex-officio members. <br /> <br /> Section 10.81.3. Office of the Board and Place of M¢¢ting. The office of the Boa_rd <br />shall be at the Ramsey Municipal Center, 15153 Nowthen Blvd. N.W., Ramsey, Minnesota, or at <br />such other place as the Board may designate. All meetings of the Board shall be held at such office <br />except that on three (3) days written notice to all Board members and to any person or persons <br />whose appeal is to be heard at that time. Any regular or special meeting of the Board may be held <br />at such other place within Ramsey as the notice may designate. <br /> <br /> Section 10.81.4. Rules of Procedure. All proceedings of the Board shall be governed <br />by the Rules of Procedure hereinafter set forth and by the provisions of the Ramsey Building Code. <br />Any conflict between these Rules of Procedure and the Ramsey Building Code shall be resolved by <br />the provisions of the Ramsey Building Code. - -~ <br /> <br /> SECTION 10.82 <br /> OFFICERS OF THE BOARD <br /> ........... -' _ . 7 ' -' 12 '2 ..... <br /> Section 10.82.1. Officers. The officers of the Board shall consist of a chairperson_and <br />vice-chairperson. The Building Official, an ex-officio member of the Board, shall act as secretary-" <br />of the Board. <br /> <br /> Section 10.82.2. Election of Officers. At the Annual Meeting, the BOard shall elect a <br />chairperson and vice-chairperson from among its members who shall hold their respective offices <br />until the next Annual Meeting and until their successors are elected. <br /> <br /> Section 10.82.3. Chairperson. The chairperson shall preside at all meetings of the <br />Board. <br /> <br /> Section 10.82.4. Vice-Chaim_ erson. The vice-chairperson shall act in the absence of <br />the chairperson and shall perform the duties of the chairperson whenever the chairperson has <br />resigned or is incapacitated and until a new chairperson is elected. <br /> <br />/fo <br /> <br /> <br />
