RESOLUTION TO INCREASE HEALTH INSURANCE <br />FOR EXEMPT EMPLOYEES FOR 1990 <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Ramsey as employer contributes $182.00 per month during the <br />year 1989 for all employees exempt from the AFSCME bargaining unit as well as employees that <br />are members of the AFSCME bargaining unit, and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the AFSCME bargaining unit's employer contribution on health care will be <br />increasing to $195.00 per month for the year of 1990, and continuing the $5,000 life <br />insurance for employee only for all City of Ramsey employees, and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, as the administrative staff exempt from AFSCME and AFSCME members have <br />been consistent regarding employer's contributions on health care benefits and life insurance, <br />and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Personnel Committee meeting on December 4, 1989 accepted the <br />recommendation of David Hartley, City Administrator, that the employer contribution on health <br />care for employees exempt from the AFSCME bargaining unit be increased to $195.00 per <br />month and the $5,000 life insurance continue for the year 1990, including David Hadley, <br />Michael Auspos, Sandra Ashley, Mark Banwart, Penny Curtis, Sylvia Frolik, and Kay McAIoney. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE C[TY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br /> 1) That the City Council of Ramsey confirms the recommendation of the Personnel <br />Committee to increase the employer contribution for health insurance including dependent <br />coverage to $195.00 per month and to continue the $5,000 life insurance for employee only <br />for all of the exempt employees for 1990. <br /> <br /> <br />
