13. Planting Distance From Fire Plugs <br /> <br />Consensus was that recommended planting distances from fire plugs should be in the <br />table of recommended trees. <br /> <br />14. Vision Clearance <br /> <br />Recommended vision clearances should be in the table of recommended trees. <br /> <br />15. Planting Distances From Utilities <br /> <br />Recommended planting distances from utilities should also be in the table of <br />Recommended Trees. Sarah Strommen and Margaret Connolly were selected to work on <br />developing a table format for the recommended trees and dimensional or bulk standards. <br />The first draft of this table should be available for review at the regular meeting on <br />January 19, 2003. <br /> <br />16. Planting Standards <br /> <br />Planting standards should be a sub-section in the table of recommended trees and <br />standards. <br /> <br />17. Planting Standards: Soil Amendment <br /> <br />Soil amendments should be another sub-section in the table of recommended trees. <br /> <br />18. Planting Standards: Mulch <br /> <br />Mulch recommendations should be another sub-section in the table of recommended <br />trees. <br /> <br />19. Tree Maintenance <br /> <br />Selected text was: "The property owner of applicant shall maintain in a clean and <br />presentable manner, without litter and with live materials in a healthy, disease free <br />condition, every planted area as shown on an approved landscaping plan. Such <br />maintenance may include cultivating, weeding, pruning and watering." <br /> <br />20. Prohibit Topping <br /> <br />Selected text was: "It shall be unlawful to top any street tree or other tree on public <br />property." <br /> <br /> <br />
