CASE <br /> <br />REPORT FROM ROAD A/~D BRIDGE COMMITTEE <br />By: Pete Raatikka, City Engineer <br /> <br />The Road and Bridge Committee met at 3:30 p.m., January 15, 1990 <br />at the office of Hakanson Anderson Associates. Members present <br />were Councilman A1 Pearson, Councilman Ken Peterson, Public Works <br />Supt. Merle Mevissen and myself. The following items were <br />discussed and recommendation were made on action to be taken. <br /> <br />Item ~1: 1990 Sealcoating and Overlay Projects <br /> <br />Background: <br /> <br />Based on a review of the streets and the City's current policy on <br />sealcoating, the following sealcoating projects are proposed for <br />1990. <br /> <br />Rolling Green <br />Ramsey Terrace <br />Magnesium Street <br />Pondvale Estates & Pondvale Estates 2nd Addition <br />Dysprosium St. between Co. Rd. 116 & CSAH No. 5 <br /> <br />These are initial sealcoating projects and with the exception of <br />Dysprosium Street they would be assessed at 100% of the cost. <br />Dysprosium Street is a MSA street and could be paid by MSA funds. <br /> <br />In addition to sealcoating, the Road and Bridge Committee <br />recommends that the streets in the following areas be overlaid in <br />accordance with the new proposed assessment policy. <br /> <br />am <br /> <br />Autumn Heights <br />Woodland Greens <br />Hall's Dover Acres <br /> <br />Recommendation: <br /> <br />The Road and Bridge Committee recommends that the city Council pass <br />the attached resolution ordering the feasibility reports for <br />sealcoating and overlaying the above referenced projects. <br /> <br />Council Action: <br /> <br />Motion to adopt Resolution ~90-01- , 90-01- , 90-01-__ <br />0~-_ , 90-0!- , 90-01- , 90-01- , and 90-01- <br />,~ea~ibi!ity reports for the proposed projects in .~.~o~n <br /> <br /> , 90- <br />ordering <br /> <br />item.-~2: .~,'~'~_ic Works E~.uipment <br /> <br />A.
