CONSIDER ADOPTION OF AE ORDINANCE AMENDMENT TO TEE <br />STREET MAINTENANCE ASSESSMENT POLICY <br /> By: Pete Raatikka, City Engineer <br /> David R. ~artley, City Administrator <br /> <br />Background: <br /> <br />On January 9, 1990, Council introduced an ordinance amendment to <br />reflect 50% City participation in street reconstruction/overlays <br />and the second and subsequent sealcoating. As requested by <br />Council, we have revised the ordinance to clearly define the policy <br />for overlaying/reconstruction of MSA streets. <br /> <br />Enclosed for your information is a copy of the revised ordinance <br />amendment for adoption. <br /> <br />Recommendation: <br /> <br />Staff recommends that Council adopt the enclosed ordinance. <br /> <br />council Action: <br /> <br />Motion to adopt the proposed ordinance amendment to reflect 50% <br />city participation in street reconstruction/overlays and second and <br />subsequent sealcoating applications. <br /> <br />Review Checklist: <br /> <br />City Administrator X <br />City Attorney X <br />City Engineer X <br />Cc~.uni~y Development Dir. <br /> <br />Chief of Police <br />Finance Officer <br /> <br />X <br />X <br /> <br /> <br />
