(WMMI) to have the <br />limitation on development lifted for a portion of Candidate Landfill Site P to allow the <br />development of a yardwaste composting operation. <br /> <br />ISSUES AND CONCERNS <br /> <br />Following the staff presentation and discussion by the committee, the recommendation was amended <br />to read as follows: <br /> <br />RECOMMENDATION <br /> <br />That the Metropolitan Council adopt th~ report and approve the request by Waste Management <br />of Minnesota, Inc. to abrogate the development limitation for a portion of Anoka County Candidate <br />Site P to allow the installation of a yardwaste composting operation, subject to the following <br />condition: <br /> <br />1. That Waste Management of Minnesota, Inc. remove, or pay for the cost of removal, of any and <br />all material should Site P be selected for use as a solid waste facility. <br /> <br />Respectfully submitted, <br /> <br />Michael McLaughlin, Chair <br /> <br /> <br />
