Such signs shall not exceed six (6) square feet for <br />residential property and twenty-four (24) square feet for <br />non-residential property; <br /> <br />Only one (1) such sign is permitted per street frontage upon <br />which the property abuts; <br /> <br />(EXCEPTION: An additional "Open House" sign may be <br />used); <br /> <br />c. Such sign shall be removed within thirty (30) days. <br /> following the lease or sale. <br /> <br />170.053Q Won signs <br /> <br /> Subdivision 1. Signs attached to a building wall which extend <br />more than forty-eight (48) inches from such surface shall be prohibited. <br /> <br /> Subd. 2. A.wall. sign or other building facing (which is an <br />integral part of the structure) may project only four (4) feet above the <br />roofline of a structure. This additional height, however, shall not be <br />considered as part of the wall area and shall not warrant additional sign <br />area. <br /> <br /> Sub& 3. Business and advertising signs shall not be painted <br />directly to any exterior building surfaces, but shall be on a separate frame, <br />except for temporary display windows. Sign letters and symbols may be <br />attached directly to a wall by adhesive or mechanical means. <br /> <br />170.054 Advertising signs <br /> <br /> Subdivision 1. Advertising wall signs shall be permitted only <br />in the commercial business type districts according to the requirements set <br />forth for those districts. <br /> <br /> Sub& 2. Free standing advertising signs shall be permitted <br />only on the parcels where the subject activity is located, or within 2500 feet <br />of the boundary line of the parcel on which the subject activity is located, but <br />in no event shall such a sign be placed on any parcel unless a special usc <br />..sign permit is granted therefore. The following conditions shall be <br />considered as the minimum standards for free standing advertising signs, <br />but the eity zoning officer may impose additional conditions. <br /> <br /> a. Maximum Height: Thirty-five (35) feet above lot grade, <br /> unless the sign is intended to be viewed from a highway, <br /> then the thirty-five (35) foot maximum height will be <br /> computed from the centerline of the traveled highway, but <br /> in no case shall the vertical distance between the bottom of <br /> the sign and the ground be reduced to less than ten (10) <br /> feet. <br /> <br /> <br />
