Area Identification Signs: One (1) sign per <br />development, not to exceed eighty (80) square feet in area. <br /> <br />Subd. 3. Temporary Signs: Refer to Section 170.053P. <br /> <br /> Subd. 4. Maximum Height of Free Standing Signs: Thirty- <br />five (35) feet above lot grade. <br /> <br /> Subd. 5. Private Traffic Directional Signs: Refer to Section <br />170.053M. <br /> <br /> Subd. 6. Minimum Setback: No part of a sign shall be <br />within five (5) feet of any property line. <br /> <br />170.055F PlAnned unit development districts <br /> <br />Sign requirements in p!anned unit development areas would be controlled <br />by the council when the development is planned. <br /> <br />170.056 Permits. <br /> <br />Before a sign may be displayed in the City of Ramsey, the owner of the <br />premises on which the sign is located shall file application with the zoning <br />officer for permission to display such sign. Permits are required for all <br />existing, new, relocated, modified or redesigned signs, except those <br />specifically exempt under Section 170.056C. <br /> <br />170.056A Application <br /> <br /> Subdivision 1. Application for permits shall be made upon <br />blanks provided by the zoning officer and shall state or have attached <br />thereto the following information: <br /> <br />a. Name, address and telephone number of applicant; <br /> <br />b. Location of building, structure or lot to which, or upon <br /> which, the sign is to be attached or erected; <br /> <br />Position of the sign or other advertising structures in <br />relation Go the nearest buildings, structures, public streets, <br />right-of-ways and property lines. The drawing showing <br />such position shall be prepared "to scale"; <br /> <br />Two (2) blueprints or ink drawings of the plans and <br />specifications, and method of construction or attachment to <br />the building or in the ground, including all dimensions, <br />locating all light sources, wattage, type and color of lights <br />and details of any light shields or shades; <br /> <br />Copy of stress sheets and calculations, showing the <br />structure is designated for dead load and wind velocity in <br /> <br /> <br />
