Councilmember introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION ~)0-05- .. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION CONFIRMING THE ONE-YEAR PERFORMANCE APPRAISAL <br />FOR GRANT RIEMER <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Grant Riemer began employment with the City of Ramsey on May 15, 1989 <br />as Public Works Maintenance Worker, in salary grade 2, with a current annual salary of $18,318; <br />and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, as stated in the AFSCME contract, of which Mr. Riemer is a member, each <br />employee who successfully completes probation and receives a satisfactory performance evaluation <br />shall be placed at not less than the applicable range minimum at the completion of 2,080 hours, <br />exclusive of overtime; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Mr. Riemer completed his probation on November 15, 1989 and will <br />complete 2,080 hours on May 15, 1990; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Mr. Riemer received a satisfactory performance evaluation from <br />Utilities/Parks Coordinator Mark Boos and Public Works Supervisor Merle Mevissen; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, City Administrator David Hartley is in agreement with the performance <br />appraisal completed for Mr. Riemer;, and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Utilities/Parks Coordinator Mark Boos and Public Works Supervisor Merle <br />Mevissen recommend that Mr. Riemer's annual salary be increased to $19,767, which is consistent <br />with the terms of the AFSCME contract for salary grade 2, effective May 15, 1990; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Personnel Committee reviewed the performance appraisal at the <br />Personnel Committee meeting on May 14, 1990 and was in agreement with the appraisal. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />I) <br /> <br />That the City Council of the City of Ramsey confirms the recommendations of the <br />Personnel Committee regarding the performance appraisal for Grant Riemer and instructs <br />Kay McAloney, Personnel Coordinator, to prepare the necessary paperwork for change in <br />annual salary to $19,767 effective May 15, 1990. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by <br />Councilmember and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br />and the following abstained: <br /> <br />and the follow4ng were absent: <br /> <br />whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City Council this <br />the 22nd day of May, 1990. <br /> <br /> <br />
