Councilmember <br /> <br />introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #90-05- <br /> <br />RESOLUTION CONFIRMING THE ONE-YEAR PERFORMANCE APPRAISAL <br />FOR JOHN KEEFE <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, John Keefe began employment with the City of Ramsey on May 16, 1989 <br />as City Assessor in the Community Development Department, in salary grade 5, with a current <br />annual salary of $27,494; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, as stated in the AFSCME contract, of which Mr. Keefe is a member, each <br />employee who successfully completes probation and receives a satisfactory performance evaluation <br />shall be placed at not less than the applicable range minimum at the completion of 2,080 hours, <br />exclusive of overtime; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Mr. Keefe completed his probation on November 16, 1989 and will <br />complete 2,080 hours on May 16, 1990; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Mr. Keefe received a satisfactory performance evaluation from Community <br />Development Director Mark Banwart, Mr. Keefe's immediate supervisor;, and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, City Administrator David Harfley is in agreement with the performance <br />appraisal completed for Mr. Keefe; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Community Development Director Mark Banwart recommends that Mr. <br />Keefe's annual salary be increased to $30,550, which is consistent with the terms of the AFSCME <br />contract for salary grade 5, effective May 16, 1990; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Personnel Committee reviewed the performance appraisal at the <br />Personnel Committee meeting on May 14, 1990 and was in agreement with the appraisal. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />1) <br /> <br />That the City Council of the City of Ramsey confirms the recommendations of the <br />Personnel Committee regarding the performance appraisal for John Keefe and instructs <br />Kay McAloney, Personnel Coordinator, to prepare the necessary paperwork for change in <br />annual salary to $30,550 effective May 15, 1990. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by <br />Councilmember and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: <br /> <br />and the following abstained: <br /> <br />and the following were absent: <br /> <br />whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey CiD, Council this <br />the 22nd day of May, 1990. <br /> <br /> <br />
