RESOLUTION #90-06- RESOLUTION CONFIRMING THE ONE-YEAR PERFORMANCE APPRAISAL FOR SECRETARY JO ANN THIELING WHEREAS, Jo Ann Thieling began employment with the City of Ramsey On June 26, 1989, as the position of Secretary in Administrative Services, in salary grade 1, with a current annual salary of $14,557 ; and WHEREAS, as stated in the AFSCME contract, of which Ms. Thieling is a member, each employee who successfully completes probation and receives a satisfactory performance evaluation shall be placed at not less than the applicable range minimum at the completion of 2,080 hours, exclusive of overtime; and WHEREAS, Ms. Thieling completed her probation on December 29, 1989 and will complete 2,080 hours on June 29, 1990; and WHEREAS, Ms. Thieling received a satisfactory performance evaluation from Administrative Coordinator Penny Curtis, Ms. Thieling's immediate supervisor; and WHEREAS, Finance Officer Sandra Ashley and City Administrator David Hartley are in agreement with the performance appraisal completed for Ms. Thieling; and WHEREAS, Administrative Coordinator Penny Curtis recommends that Ms. Thieling's annual salary be increased to $16,173, which is consistent with the terms of the AFSCME contract for salary grade 1, effective June 30, 1990; and WHEREAS, the Personnel Committee reviewed the performance appraisal at the Personnel Committee meeting on June 20, 1990 and was in agreement with the appraisal. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: The City Council of the City of Ramsey confirms the recommendations of the Personnel Committee regarding the performance appraisal for Jo Ann Thieling, and instructs Kay McAIoney, Personnel Coordinator, to prepare the necessary paperwork for change in annual salary to $16,173 effective June 30, 1990.
