Mr. Glen C. Ellis, P.E.
Page 2
June 19, 1990

Cross-over east of Bowers Drive N.W. (approximate station
399). This cross-over provides access to a farm on the south
side of T.H. #10. Closing this cross-over would add
approximately 3-1/2 miles of distance for the farmer to reach
his farm land on the north side of T.H. #10.

Cross-over east of Alpaca Street (approximately station 481).
This cross-over provides access to a farm on the north side
of T.H. #10. The land owner stated that the removal of this
crossing would devalue his property. However, he would not
be opposed to placing "No U-Turn" signs at this cross-over.

In response to the remaining three cross-overs proposed to be
closed (Puma Street, crossing at station 339, and the crossing at
station 488) the Ramsey Road and Bridge Committee is agreeable to
their closing provided the other four cross-overs are left open.

I am enclosing copies of letters from residents opposing the
closing of the cross-overs. Also enclosed is a copy of the
stipulated agreement previously mentioned.

Thank you for the opportunity to comment on the proposed closing
of the median cross-overs. Please let me know what changes Mn/DOT
will make in the closing of the median cross-overs. If you have
any questions or need additional information, please let me know.

Sincerely,

HAKANSON ANDERSON ASSOCIATES, INCo

Pet re R.
