It is Staff's belief <br />that these funds should be reserved for possible land acquisition costs which the City may be faced <br />with in the near future. <br /> <br />Volunteer efforts on this particular type of project are difficult. We estimate a cost savings of about <br />$7,000 based on the above estimate. <br /> <br />No players benches, protective fencing or perimeter fencing is included in this project. <br /> <br />Recommendation: <br /> <br />Staff recognizes the need for the project, however, funding authorization is solely at the discretion <br />of the Council.
