Councilmember DeLuca introduced the following resolution and moved <br />for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #90-07- <br /> <br />RESOLUTION ORDERING PREPARATION OF PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS FOR <br />SOFTBALL FIELDS AT CENTRAL PARK (IMPROVEMENT PROJECT 90-26) <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the residents of Ramsey have indicated a need for <br />additional softball ballfields to be developed in the city, and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, land area and irrigation is available in Central Park <br />and preliminary estimated costs are approximately $100,000.00, and <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br /> 1) That City Staff is directed to enlist the help of <br />volunteer groups to the extent possible for making the improvement. <br /> <br /> 2) That Mr. Merland Otto of Hakanson Anderson Associates, <br />Inc. is responsible for preparing plans and specifications. <br /> <br /> 3) That funding for this project shall be made available by <br />an interfund loan from the Trust Fund with repayment <br />to the trust fund being made within three years bearing an interest <br />rate of __% per annum. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly <br />seconded by Councilmember and upon vote being taken <br />thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: <br /> <br />whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by <br />the Ramsey City Council this the 24th day of July, 1990. <br /> <br /> <br />
