Councilmember RESOLUTION COUNTY FOR introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: RESOLUTION #90-07- AUTHORIZING JOINT POWERS AGREEMENT WITH ANOKA PAVING ACCESS ROAD AT RIVER'S BEND PARK WHEREAS, City Council approved 1989 parks improvements at River's Bend Park which included extension of the park access road to the southern portion of the park; and WHEREAS, that portion of said access road between the parking lot and County Road #116 right-of-way was not paved so as to accommodate construction equipment for the County Road #116 project; and WHEREAS, the County will be paving County Road #116 and restoring the access road under the bebo structure; and WHEREAS, discussion with County personnel have indicated an interest in a joint project to complete paving and restoration of said access road at the County's contract unit costs. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: 1) That City Staff is directed to coordinate a joint powers agreement for the work with Anoka County in an amount not to exceed $6,500. 2) That the Mayor and City Administrator are authorized to enter into said agreement. 3) That Hakanson Anderson Associates, Inc. will coordinate this project with the County. 4) That funding for the project will be accomplished with 1989 Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) funds previously authorized. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: and the following voted against the same: and the following abstained: and the following were absent: whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City Council this the 24th day of July, 1990.
