Councilmember <br /> <br />RESOLUTION <br />COUNTY FOR <br /> <br /> introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> RESOLUTION #90-07- <br /> <br />AUTHORIZING JOINT POWERS AGREEMENT WITH ANOKA <br />PAVING ACCESS ROAD AT RIVER'S BEND PARK <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, City Council approved 1989 parks improvements at River's Bend Park <br />which included extension of the park access road to the southern portion of the park; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, that portion of said access road between the parking lot and County Road <br />#116 right-of-way was not paved so as to accommodate construction equipment for the County <br />Road #116 project; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the County will be paving County Road #116 and restoring the access road <br />under the bebo structure; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, discussion with County personnel have indicated an interest in a joint <br />project to complete paving and restoration of said access road at the County's contract unit costs. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />1) <br /> <br />That City Staff is directed to coordinate a joint powers agreement for the work with Anoka <br />County in an amount not to exceed $6,500. <br /> <br />2) That the Mayor and City Administrator are authorized to enter into said agreement. <br /> <br />3) That Hakanson Anderson Associates, Inc. will coordinate this project with the County. <br /> <br />4) <br /> <br />That funding for the project will be accomplished with 1989 Community Development <br />Block Grant (CDBG) funds previously authorized. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember and <br />upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: <br /> <br />and the following abstained: <br /> <br />and the following were absent: <br /> <br />whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City Council this <br />the 24th day of July, 1990. <br /> <br /> <br />
