I
I
I
I
I
!
I
I
I
I
I
I
!
I
I
I
I
I

It is also proposed that the boulevards will be seeded and mulched
as part of the project. Sodding of the boulevard could also be
provided at an increased cost.

The street section proposed, as shown on Exhibit B, consist of a
four inch (4") ~gravel base with a minimum two inch (2") bituminous
surface. This section is equivalent to a 7-ton design in
accordance with the Minnesota Department of Transportation
specifications. This street section has been used successfully in
other areas of the city°

It is estimated that this street section has a life expectancy of
20 years with minimal maintenance°

The proposed construction would not include any driveway
construction. It would be the homeowner's responsibility to extend
existing bituminous or concrete driveways to match the street°

STORM DRAINAGE IMPROVEMENTS

The present storm drainage system appears to be generally
inadequate. It is our recommendation that swales to be installed
to facilitate drainage from the west to the east. Additional
consideration should be given to providing a drainage easement for
ponding water that periodically occurs along the benefited
properties and the adjoining plat of Golden Eagle Estates. It
appears this water from the north end of Bison Street should be
draining easterly to a culvert under Zeolite Street to a wetland
