Vice Chairperson Johnson asked how easy it would be for them to keep the RV's behind the <br />building. <br /> <br />Associate Planner Wald stated the proposed permit restricts the number of units stored to 70. <br /> <br />Vice Chairperson Johnson stated he is wondering if they were to limit placement, and require <br />Class V, they could allow the permit for a longer period of time. <br /> <br />Associate Planner Wald stated she believes Staff is more adamant that the permit not be longer <br />than two years than they are about the Class V material. <br /> <br />The representative from RV World indicated with the comments he has heard, he is concerned <br />about continuing his business when the Town Center is built. He stated they are on what is <br />known as RV row, and it is how many of them make their living. <br /> <br />Adjournment <br /> <br />Motion by Commissioner Brauer, seconded by Commissioner Van Scoy to close the public <br />hearing at 7:20 p.m. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Vice Chairperson Johnson, Commissioners Brauer, Van Scoy, <br />Jeffrey, and Watson. Voting No: None. Absent: Chairperson Nixt and Commissioner <br />Shepherd. <br /> <br />Commission Business <br /> <br />Commissioner Watson stated it sounds like Staff would be willing to forego Class V if there was <br />a maintenance agreement. <br /> <br />Commissioner Van Scoy added they would want to limit the number of vehicles as well. <br /> <br />Associate Planner Wald indicated the permit does limit the number of vehicles to 70. She would <br />recommend striking condition number two of the resolution, and limiting the parking area to the <br />rear and side yard, with weekly mowing and maintenance and no application of Class V. <br /> <br />Commissioner Jeffrey asked how this would be enforced if it was not maintained as outlined. <br /> <br />Associate Planner Wald stated it would be enforced through the City's code enforcement staff. <br /> <br />Motion by Commissioner Van Scoy, seconded by Commissioner Watson to recommend that City <br />Council adopt Findings of Fact favorable to the request from Bruce Volk for an interim use <br />permit for outdoor storage as a secondary principal use at 14165 Ramsey Boulevard. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Vice Chairperson Johnson, Commissioners Van Scoy, Watson, <br />Brauer, and Jeffrey. Voting No: None.
