Motion by Commissioner Van Scoy, seconded by Commissioner Brauer to recommend that City <br />Council approve the request for an Interim Use Permit to allow for outdoor storage as a <br />secondary principal use at 14165 Ramsey Boulevard, based on the findings of fact, until August <br />1, 2005, with a change to condition #2 to read: <br /> 2) The Permittee herein agrees that all travel trailers and/or recreational vehicles (RV) <br /> will be stored on an area that will be maintained weekly. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Vice Chairperson Johnson, Commissioners Van Scoy, Brauer, <br />Jeffrey, and Watson. Voting No: None. Absent: Chairperson Nixt and Commissioner <br />Shepherd. <br /> <br />Case #5 <br /> <br />Request for an Environmental Permit for Riverbank Stabilization in the <br />Mississippi River Critical and Scenic River Overlay District; Case of Robert <br />MA Johnson and Gary Miller <br /> <br />Public Hearing <br /> <br />Vice Chairperson Johnson indicated he would be abstaining from this case, since he is one of the <br />applicants. <br /> <br />Commissioner Van Scoy opened the public hearing at 7:28 p.m. <br /> <br />Presentation <br /> <br />Community Development Director Frolik advised the City has received an application for an <br />Environmental Permit for river bank stabilization in the Mississippi Critical and Scenic Rover <br />Overlay District. She stated Staff has had discussions on the issue with the DNR and Anoka <br />County Soil and Water District, and the permit request has been reviewed and approved by both <br />boards. She indicated it has been determined a local permit is not necessary. <br /> <br />Adjournment <br /> <br />Motion by Commissioner Brauer, seconded by Commissioner Jeffrey to close the public hearing <br />at 7:28 p.m. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Commissioners Brauer, Jeffrey, Van Scoy and Watson. Voting <br />No: None. Absent: Chairperson Nixt and Commissioner Shepherd.
