SECTION 06190 <br />WOOD TRUSSES <br />PART 1- GENERAL <br />1.1 DESCRIPTION <br />A. Work included: <br />1. This Section includes all labor, materials and equipment necessary to <br />complete all prefabricated wood trusses shown on the Drawings and <br />specified herein. <br />B. Related work: <br />1. Documents affecting work of this Section include, but are not necessarily <br />limited to, General Conditions, Supplementary Conditions, and Sections <br />in Division of these specifications. <br />2. Rough Carpentry - Section 06100 <br />1.2 QUALITY ASSURANCE <br />A. Use adequate numbers of skilled workers who are thoroughly trained and <br />experienced in the necessary crafts and who are completely familiar with the <br />specified requirements and the methods needed for proper performance of the <br />work of this Section. <br />B. The design and fabrication shall meet the following criteria: <br />1. "National Design Specification for Stress Graded Lumber and its <br />Fastenings" - NFPA. <br />2. "Timber Construction Standards" - AITC. <br />3. "Design Specifications for Light Metal Plate Connective Wood Trusses" - <br />TPI. <br />1.3 SUBMITTALS <br />A. Shop Drawings <br />06190-1 <br />
