1. Shop Drawings shall indicate truss type, number, sizes, spacings, <br />bridging, connections, pitch, loading, web arrangement, and all details of <br />erection. <br />2. Submit truss designs and calculations which shall bear the name and seal <br />of a Registered Professional Engineer. Truss designs shall contain the <br />following information: <br />a. Nominal sizes and locations of connections at all joints. <br />b. Lumber specifications. <br />c. Force analysis in each member. <br />d. Truss bearing supports, sizes, and locations. <br />e. Camber. <br />f. Permanent bracing/bridging as required to prevent compression <br />buckling of individual truss members. <br />g. Handling and erection instructions. <br />h. Truss framing system showing location of all trusses. <br />1.4 DELIVERY, STORAGE, AND HANDLING <br />A. Deliver all wood trusses and accessories to the Project site and store in such <br />manner as to avoid damage and distortion of material. All material damaged due <br />to mishandling shall be replaced at Contractor's expense. <br />1. Store trusses in vertical position protected from the weather. <br />PART 2 - PRODUCTS <br />2.1 MA I'ERIALS <br />A. Dimensional lumber trusses as indicated on the Drawings. <br />2.2 FABRICATION <br />A. Trusses shall be manufactured in an approved plant under controlled conditions <br />and shall be completely shop -assembled with built-in camber, ready for site <br />unloading and erection. <br />PART 3 - EXECUTION <br />3.1 INSPECTION <br />A. Erector must examine the supporting structure and the conditions under which <br />the work is to be installed and notify the Contractor in writing of conditions <br />detrimental to the work. Do not proceed with the installation until satisfactory <br />conditions have been corrected in a manner acceptable to the Erector. <br />06190-2 <br />
