2.2 PLASTIC LAMINATE FACED COUNTERTOPS <br />A. Countertops and vanity counters shall be Custom Grade conforming to <br />AWI Sections 400 and 400C latest edition. <br />B. Tops and counters shall be scribed to walls. Make cutouts for sinks and <br />plumbing trim and seal edges of cutouts. <br />C. Tops and counters shall be constructed of 3/4" thick particleboard or <br />plywood. Tops containing sinks shall be constructed of exterior grade plywood <br />or Type 2-M-2 particleboard. <br />D. Tops and counters shall be faced and edged with 0.050" thick, GP 50 <br />plastic laminate and backed with a 0.020" thick, BK 20 backing sheet. Edges shall <br />be square, and joint between top and back -splash shall be square. <br />2.3 CABINET HARDWARE <br />A. Cabinet hardware shall be as follows: <br />1. Adjustable shelf standards: K&V No. 255 US26D, <br />rabbeted into sides and ends. <br />2. Brackets: K&V No. 256 IS26D <br />3. Drawer slides: K&V No. 1300 <br />4. Door catches: Stanley 41 for unlocked doors, Ives 325 x <br />A92 for locked doors. <br />5. Door and drawer pulls: Stanley 4483 26D <br />6. Catches: Stanley 41 for locked drawers; for locked <br />drawers Ives 325 x A92 <br />7. Hinges: Stanley 1500 Series <br />8. Locks: Cabinet door locks, CCL 0737 with strike. Cabinet <br />drawer locks, CCL 0738 with strike. MK locks. <br />2.4 STANDING AND RUNNING TRIM <br />A. Standing and running trim and other miscellaneous millwork shall be <br />Custom Grade conforming to AWI Sections 300 and 700. <br />B.
