E. Adhesive for rigid insulation: Type recommended by insulation manufacturer, <br />capable of securely adhering insulation to applicable surface. <br />PART 3 - EXECUTION <br />3.1 INSTALLATION <br />A. Install rigid insulation system on masonry walls using fasteners recommended by <br />the manufacturer of the system to penetrate the substrate a minimum of 3/4" or <br />as otherwise recommended for the particular application. <br />B. Install noise insulation batts pressed firmly into position between studs. Fit <br />snugly around all wall penetrations, i.e.; junction boxes and receptacles. Install <br />continuous from floor to structure above where indicated on the Drawings. <br />C. Install polyethylene film vapor barrier on warm side of all fiberglass insulation; <br />lap 6" on all sides. <br />D. Install extruded polystyrene perimeter insulation using adhesive as necessary to <br />temporarily hold insulation in place. Butt panels tightly together. Protect from <br />damage until backfilling is completed. <br />07210-2 <br />
