Councilmember introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION g90-10- <br /> <br />RESOLUTION ENDORSING THE ADOPTION OF THE ALTERNATIVE <br />PERMITTING PROCEDURE AS THE PREFERRED IMPLEMENTATION <br />PROCEDURE FOR THE LOWER RUM RIVER WATERSHED MANAGEMENT <br />ORGANIZATION <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, it is imperative that the Lower Rum River Watershed Management <br />Organization adopt an implementation procedure as a condition for approval of the watershed <br />protection plan; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the alternative permitting procedures addresses both the desirability of <br />maintaining local control over development while still providing for a uniform review process for <br />those projects having the greatest potential for impacts on the watershed. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />OF RAMSEY, COUNTY OF ANOKA, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />1) <br /> <br />That the alternative permitting procedure be adopted as the vehicle for providing the <br />implementation of the Lower Rum River Watershed Management Plan. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br /> and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: <br /> <br />and the following abstained: <br /> <br />and the following were absent: <br /> <br />whereupon said resolution was declared duty passed and adopted by the Ramsey City Council this <br />the 9th day of October, 1990. <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br />Mayor <br /> <br />City Administrator <br /> <br /> <br />
