AGREEMENT FOR BUll,DING INSPECTION SERVICES <br /> <br /> This Agreement entered into this day of , 1990 by and <br />between the City of St. Francis (hereinafter referred to as "ST. FRANCIS") <br />and the City of Ramsey (hereinafter referred to as RAMSEY). <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, ST. FRANCIS desires to contract with RAMSEY for <br />Building Inspection services for ST. FRANCIS, and RAMSEY is willing to <br />provide one of its Building Inspectors to serve ST. FRANCIS'S Building <br />Inspection needs; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, ST. FRANCIS and RAMSEY desire to enter into w <br />written agreement to set forth each party's rights and responsibilities; <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, IT IS AGREED: <br /> <br /> 1. This Agreement will commence on the 1st day of November ,1990 <br />and continue through the 31st day of December, 1991, unless extended by <br />mutual agreement of the parties. <br /> <br /> 2. RAMSEY shall provide a building inspector under the <br />supervision of a licensed Building Official to perform inspections, conduct <br />plan reviews and issue building permits for ST. FRANCIS. <br /> <br /> 3. The building inspector so provided shall maintain regular office <br />hours at ST. FRANCIS' CITY HALL for a minimum of 12 hours per week, <br />at such times as the parties shall determine from time to time by written <br />agreement attached hereto as Exhibit "A". <br /> <br /> 4. ST. FRANCIS will pay RAMSEY for such services at the Hourly <br />Rate of $21.00. All direct expenses will be billed at cost and travel will be <br />billed at $0.25 per mile. RAMSEY shall submit monthly claims for <br />payment, showing the dates worked, hours worked, all related indirect <br />costs, and name of building inspector providing the work. <br /> <br />5. THE PARTIES MAKE THE FOLLOWING REPRESENTATIONS: <br /> <br />RAMSEY will maintain Worker's Compensation Insurance <br />and provide Training and Medical Allowance for the <br />Inspectors provided under this Agreement. <br /> <br />RAMSEY Building Inspector provided under this agreement <br />will be employees of RAMSEY for purposes of pay, social <br />security, unemployment, retirement and withholding. <br /> <br />The Building Inspectors provided under this agreement <br />shall become familiar with the ST. FRANCIS CODE, <br />including the Zoning Ordinance, and Subdivision Ordinance <br />and shall remain knowledgeable as to all subsequent <br /> <br />Agreement for Building Inspection Services <br /> <br />Page 1 of 2 <br /> <br /> <br />
