I I I I I i I I I I Councilmember moved for its adoption: introduced the following resolution and RESOLUTION #90-11- RESOLUTION ENTERING INTO AN EXPENSE REIMBURSEMENT AGREEMENT WITH UNITED POWER ASSOCIATION (UPA) ON PROJECT 89-4. WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Ramsey adopted Resolution # awarding the bid to Dresel Contracting, Inc. for the constructlo'--~-n of Improvement Project 89-4 (153rd Avenue), and W-HEREAS, the construction of 153rd Avenue is adjacent to a UPA transmission line; and WHEREAS, two structures may require holding during construction and/or relocation after the subgrade is mucked out and refilled; and WHEREAS, UPA has estimated this cost of the structures relocation to be $20,703.00 and has requested that City sign the Acknowledgement of Expenses for Power Line Move dated October 1, 1990 since it is a city project; and WHEREAS, the Contract Documents and Technical Specifications for Project 89-4 states that all costs for moving any utilities shall be borne by the contractor. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF 70%MSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: 1) That the City Council hereby authorizes the Mayor or city Administrator to sign the acknowledgement of expenses for power line move. 2) That the total amount of the cost of moving the UPA utilities shall be billed to the contractor, Dresel Contracting, Inc. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: and the following voted against the same: and the following abstained: and the following were absent: whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City Council this 27th day of November, 1990.
