Implementation of SCORE in Anoka County Communities <br /> <br />The following communities in Anoka County provide the following services as required by the <br />SCORE Legislation. <br /> <br />Andover - Population 16,193 - Provides curbside service on a weekly basis for some residents and <br />twice monthly for other residents. The cost of recycling is charged to the residents by the refuse <br />haulers in their refuse bill. <br /> <br />Anoka - Population 17,094 - Provides curbside pickup service on a twice a month basis for all <br />households in the City. The cost of the service is split between the City and the resident, this is <br />accomplished by the City handling the refuse billing. <br /> <br />Bethel - Population 394 - Drop-off is the only recycling service available to residents. Curbside <br />recycling is not required since the population is less than 5000. <br /> <br />Blaine - Population 39,032 - Provides curbside pickup service on a weekly basis to all households <br />in the City. The City bills the residents for this service. <br /> <br />Bums - Population 2,396 - Drop-off is the only recycling service available to residents. <br /> <br />Centerville - Population 1,039 - Provides curbside pickup service on a weekly basis to all <br />households in the City. The refuse hauler bills the resident for this service, if the resident is <br />recycling, they receive a credit on their refuse billing, the City then reimburses the refuse hauler for <br />the credits issued to residents who are recycling. <br /> <br />Circle Pines - Population 4,498 - Provides curbside pickup service on a weekly basis to all <br />households in the City. The City bills the residents for this service. <br /> <br />Columbia Heights - Population 18,876 - Provides curbside pickup service on a weekly basis to all <br />households in the City. The City bills the residents for this service. <br /> <br />Columbus - Population 3,686 - Provides curbside service on a twice per month basis for all <br />households in the City. The cost of recycling is charged to the residents by the hauler in their <br />refuse bill. <br /> <br />Coon Rapids - Population 52,729 - Provides curbside service on a weekly basis for all households <br />in the City. The cost of recycling is charged to the residents by the hauler in their refuse bill. <br /> <br />East Bethel - Population 8,038 - Provides curbside service on a twice per month basis for ail <br />households in the City. The cost of recycling is charged to the residents by the hauler in their <br />refuse bill. <br /> <br />~;,:~dley - Population 28,287 - Provides curbside service on a twice per month basis for all <br />households in the City. The cost of recycling is paid by the City. <br /> <br />Ham Lake - Population 8,916 - .Provides curbside service on a weekly basis for all households in <br />the City. The cost of recycling is charged to the residents by the hauler in their refuse bill. <br /> <br />Hilltop - Population 743 - Provides curbside service on a weekly basis for all households in the <br />City. The cost of recycling is paid by the City. <br /> <br />Lexington - Population 2,141 - Provides curbside service on a twice per month basis for all <br />households in the City. The cost of recycling is paid by the City. <br /> <br /> <br />
