AWARD BID FOR 1991 CRACK SEALING PROGRAM <br /> By: City Engineer Steven J. Jankowski <br /> <br />CASE <br /> <br />Background: <br /> <br />Crack sealing is an operation which enhances the effectiveness of sealcoating in a comprehensive <br />bituminous pavement maintenance program. The City intends to crack seal those streets which are <br />anticipated to be sealcoated this summer. The City Council authorized the solicitation of bids for <br />the 1991 Crack Sealing Program on March 26, 1991. At the time of this writing, four contractors <br />have taken out plans and specifications for the projects. The bid opening is scheduled for Monday, <br />April 22, 1991.
