MN 55.101 RECEIVED (612) 221-040] '''''- I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I April 5, 1991 Mrs. Sylvia Frolik City Administration Building 15153 Nowthen Boulevard Ramsey, MN 55153 RE: Faye 2nd Addition Preliminary Plat (Schwartzman Property) Dear Mrs. Frolik, On March 5, 1991 the Planning and Zoning Commission made two recommendations to Council relating to the above. 1.) Amend the Business and Residential District zoning Boundaries and 2.) Preliminary plat Approval. The Planning and Zoning Action on the plat made reference to final review by the Parks and Recreation Commission relating to trail alignment. As a result of a recent meeting with Dave Torkitdson of Anoka County Parks we are both proceeding on the basis that a trade of land will take place by and between Faye plat and the County. After platting the County will receive about 2/3 of what was considered as Outlot E in exchange for a like amount of land fronting on THi0 between the subdivision and Ramsey Boulevard. This anticipated trade will make it logical for relocation of the trail land (to be dedicated as park) to a location along the easterly boundary of the Plat and extending westerly to join the County property. The attached January 11, 1991 Preliminary Plat is modified to generally show: 2. 3. 4. Park t (Lot 1, Block 4) to be dedicated to the City Parks 2 and 3 (Outlots C & D Trail) to be dedicated Outlot E for trade to the County for park Outlot F to be retained as a private open space area The scenic easement would include both Outlots E and F. This Preliminary Plat will be in shape for you before the scheduled Council meeting of April 23rd. Sylvia, I believe the above changes are consistent wi.th the Planning and Zoning Commission approval as we will present to them again before the final plat as they directed.
