Councilmember introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION #14-02-041 <br />RESOLUTION TO HIRE A UTILITIES MAINTENANCE WORKER <br />WHEREAS, as per the adopted strategic plan, staff conducted a recruitment for a <br />fulltime Utilities Maintenance Worker; and <br />WHEREAS, an internal recruitment process was conducted; and <br />WHEREAS, Mr. Matt Graf has been selected as the top candidate for the Utilities <br />Maintenance Worker position; and <br />WHEREAS, staff has completed the necessary background checks and is <br />recommending that Mr. Matt Graf be hired as a Utilities Maintenance Worker at $19.53 <br />per hour, effective on or near March 1, 2014. <br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE <br />CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br />Motion to approve resolution #14-02-041 to hire Mr. Matt Graf as a Utilities <br />Maintenance Worker, effective on or near March 1, 2014 at $19.53 per hour <br />The motion for the adoption of the 'foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Council <br />Member, , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br />and the following voted against the same: <br />and the following abstained: <br />and the following were absent: <br />Whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City <br />Council this the 25t1i day of February, 2014. <br />
