Ramsey's HRA Completes Real Estate Transaction with McDonald's USA, LLC
On February 26, 2014, the HRA successfully completed a real estate
transaction with McDonald's USA, LLC for 7994 Sunwood Drive NW (Lot
2, Block 1, COR TWO). It appears that McDonald's desires to commence
construction this spring, but is not guaranteed at this time. The Real Estate
Contract between the HRA and McDonald's does provide for a period of
time before McDonald's is required to commence construction. The City
has completed the review of a Building Permit and is ready to issue the
Permit once requested by McDonald's.
Ramsey2040: What Will Make Ramsey Thrive as a Balanced Community?
Ramsey is home to a diverse land use and tax base. The
City desires to check in with residents and stakeholders as
we look at how the community will evolve over the next
several years. Where will opportunities for residential,
shopping, and employment exist? Where will areas remain
as they are today? How will Ramsey make connections to
these areas? How will the area around your home or
business look in the future?
Thursday, March 20, 2014, at 6:00 p.m.
Ramsey Municipal Center, Alexander Ramsey Room
For more information, please visit
www.cityoframsey.com/ComprehensivePlan or contact
Tim Gladhill, Development Services Manager, at 763-
576-4308 or tgladhill@cityoframsey.com.
.; w l■■•:li.rf■a
■ b1s,
I''tal " liZigrtirig.til
f9• r .0
...u■is`t ''' - ty 1■N n"'t
1111■` Gr..s fh ■maip
Ia N Jv e'11• ,
7E 1II • : Q.
W-..on no "invreA
1E ••••U• uu u.uu or
11®1_111111111■11,IE•
I 1 11• ;;Ire-orm-
What Amenities Should the City Plan For in the Future Lake Feature in The COR?
Over the past several years, the City has been refining the development plan for the area known as The COR. The COR is a
mixed -use development that is home to the Northstar Commuter Rail — Ramsey Station.
The Development Plan for The COR includes a future lake feature
anticipated to include both active and passive recreational
opportunities as well as small-scale private development. The City is
looking for your help in discussing potential improvements and
amenities of this area of The COR. What recreation opportunities
should be studied further? What adjacent uses would help compliment
this feature? Your input is important as we begin the first stages of this
small area planning and design.
Thursday, March 13, 2014, at 6:00 p.m.
Ramsey Municipal Center, Alexander Ramsey Room
For more information, please visit:
www. cityoframsey.com/LakeRamsey
Contact: Mark Riverblood, Parks and Assistant Public Works
Superintendent at mriverblood@a,ci.ramsey.mn.us or 763-433-9853.
