Absent: Commissioners Field and Nosan. <br />Chairperson Levine closed the public hearing closed at 7:24 p.m. <br />Commission Business <br />Motion by Commissioner Bauer, seconded by Commissioner Van Scoy, to adopt Resolution #14- <br />02 -028 approving Findings of Fact #0921 related to a request for a variance to the setback from <br />the OHW level of the Mississippi River and to the use of sanitary sewer and municipal water. <br />Motion Carried. Absent: Commissioners Field and Nosan. <br />Motion by Commissioner Bauer, seconded by Commissioner Maul, to adopt Resolution #14 -02- <br />029 approving the request for a variance, amending the lot width and lot area based on the City <br />Attorney's recommendations. <br />Motion Carried. Absent: Commissioners Field and Nosan. <br />5.02: Consider Request for Sketch Plan Review of Alpine Woods Third Addition; Case of <br />Oakwood Land Development <br />Presentation <br />Development Services Manager Gladhill presented the staff report stating the submitted minor <br />subdivision proposes to plat approximately 0.30 acres to create one (1) buildable single - family <br />lot. The proposed plat would not reconfigure existing property lines. The proposed subdivision <br />would convert an existing outlot to a buildable lot. Staff discussed the sketch plan in detail with <br />the Council and recommend approval of the final plat based on the sketch plan review. <br />Commission Business <br />Commissioner Bauer stated a deck could not be constructed on the future home given the <br />setbacks. <br />Development Services Manager Gladhill stated this was the case as the home would be set on the <br />rear yard setback. <br />Commissioner VanScoy supported the proposed sketch plan.
