Motion by Commissioner VanScoy, seconded by Commissioner Field, to close the public <br />hearing. <br />Motion Carried. Voting Yes: Chairperson Levine, Commissioners VanScoy, Field, Bauer, <br />Brauer, and Nosan. Voting No: None. Absent: Maul. <br />Chairperson Levine closed the public hearing closed at 7:27 p.m. <br />Commission Business <br />Motion by Commissioner VanScoy, seconded by Commissioner Bauer, to recommend that City <br />Council adopt Resolution #14 -03 -044 adopting Findings of Fact #0924 related to a request for a <br />Home Occupation Permit to operate a gunsmithing business at 15531 Zirconium Street NW <br />amending Condition #12, stating that no more than two vehicles trips associated with the <br />business can be conducted on the site per day. <br />Motion Carried. Voting Yes: Chairperson Levine, Commissioners VanScoy, Bauer, Brauer, <br />Field, and Nosan. Voting No: None. Absent: Maul. <br />Motion by Commissioner VanScoy, seconded by Commissioner Bauer, to recommend that City <br />Council adopt Resolution #14 -03 -045 approving a Home Occupation Permit to operate a <br />gunsmithing business at 15531 Zirconium Street NW, adding Item 18 and amending Items #5 <br />and #13. <br />Further discussion <br />Commissioner VanScoy requested clarification on the amendment to Item #13. <br />Commissioner Bauer recommended Item #13 be amended striking the words "that in the case of <br />death ". This would allow the business to transfer to an adult child without the owner's death. <br />Mr. Beech suggested the word "except" be removed from the language as well. <br />Development Services Manager Gladhill read the City Ordinance regarding Home Occupation <br />Permits with regard to title transfer and recommended this language replace the language in Item <br />#13. The Commission was in agreement with this suggestion. <br />Motion Carried. Voting Yes: Chairperson Levine, Commissioners VanScoy, Bauer, Brauer, <br />Field, and Nosan. Voting No: None.
