The new truck is on order and expected to <br />be delivered in the 2nd quarter of 2014. <br />Also, the existing rescue boat (DNR excess inventory program) was replaced by a new Zodiac boat. Motor, trailer <br />and gear were transferred to the new boat. <br />Listed below are the Nowthen owned apparatus and specifications of each: <br />Vehicle <br />Pump Capacity <br />On -Board Water <br /># of Staff Carried <br />2012 Engine #31 <br />1250 gpm <br />1000 gallons <br />6 <br />1989 Tanker #31 <br />n/a <br />1900 gallons <br />2 <br />2008 Grass #31 <br />Not Rated <br />225 gallons <br />3 <br />*It should be noted that Nowthen took delivery of a 2012 Rosenbauer Engine in 2013. Truck carries 1000 gallons of <br />water and carries 6 FF's. This replaces the 1989 Engine #31. <br />Shared Services <br />Members from the communities of Ramsey, Nowthen, St Francis and Bethel met throughout 2013 working out <br />details on a possible shared fire service structure. The group continues to work on Cost Share Models and the <br />details of a Relief consolidation. <br />
