2) <br /> <br />Review and Adopt 2003 Enterprise .Fund Budgets <br />The Finance Committee recommended that the City Council adopt Resolution <br />#03-01-030 adopting the 2003 Enterprise Fund Budgets, and adopt Resolution <br />#03-01-031 amending the 2002 Enterprise Fund Budgets. <br /> <br />3) <br /> <br />Review and Adopt 2003 Economic Development Authority Operating Budget <br />The Finance Committee recommended that the City Council adopt Resolution <br />#03-01-032 adopting the 2003 Economic Development Authority Operating Budget, and <br />adopt Resolution #03-01-033 amending the 2002 Economic Development Authority <br />Operating Budget. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Kurak, seconded by Councilmember Zimmerman, to ratify the <br />recommendations of the Finance Committee. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Gamec, and Councilmembers Kurak, Zimmerman, Elvig, <br />Pearson, and Strommen. Voting No: None. Absent: Councilmember Cook. <br /> <br />4) <br /> <br />Authorize Transportation Consulting Services <br />City Administrator Norman stated that the Council began discussing the contract during <br />the Finance Committee, but had to break for the Council meeting. <br /> <br />Councilmember Strommen stated that if they have an amount not to exCeed $10,000 at <br />$200.00, hour how much can they realistically expect them to complete in 50 hours. <br /> <br />City Administrator Norman replied that the initial contract was for $18,000 and the <br />Council requested that the cost be scaled back and then they can add to the contract in <br />increments of $10,000. <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec stated that he did not think that until they meet with Mr. Tinklenberg that <br />they would have any idea how long this process will take. <br /> <br />Councilmember Zimmerman stated that the issue is very important and one of the biggest <br />tasks facing the City of Ramsey. The City needs to be proactive on this issue and should <br />soon have meetings with Mr. Tinklenberg as well as officials from the highway <br />department. <br /> <br />Councilmember Kurak inquired if it would be worthwhile for the Council to form a <br />committee to work on the issue. <br /> <br />City Administrator Norman replied that the Public Works Committee would be the <br />appropriate committee. <br /> <br />City Council/January 28, 2003 <br /> Page 14 of 16 <br /> <br /> <br />
