Resolution//03-02-044 authorizing the City Administrator to enter into a contract with Labor Relations Associates, Inc. to provide Recruitment and Selection Services for the position of Human Resources Manager in an amount not to exceed $6,800. Motion by Councihnember Elvig, seconded by Councilmember Cook, to ratify the recommendation of the Personnel Committee. Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Elvig, Cook, Kurak, Pearson, Strommen and Zimmerman. Voting No: None. Case #5: Report from the Finance Committee The Finance Committee met on February 11, 2003, and discussed the following cases: 1) Consider Transfer of Equipment Replacement Funds for Purchase of Fax Machine for City Hall The ?inance Committee recommended that the City Council adopt Resolution #03-02- 045 attthorizing the transfer of $1,500 from the Equipment Replacement Fund for the purchase of a new fax machine for City Hall. 2) Purchase of New Self-Contained Breathing Apparatus (SCBA) The Finance Committee recommended that the City Council adopt Resolution #03-02- 046 awarding the contract to Metro Fire to provide MSA SCBA's to the Ramsey Fire Department in the amount of $80,959.50. 3) Consider Proposal from BKV Group for Police Department Space Needs Assessment The Finance Committee recommended that the City Council adopt Resolution #03-02- 047 Authorizing the proposal from BKV Group for a Space Needs Assessment for the Police Department at a cost not to exceed $11,500 and the use of the encumbered funds from the 2002 budget. 4) CIP A work session was scheduled for February 24, 2003, to discuss the City's Capital Improvement Program.
