City of <br />Elk <br />River <br />13065 Orono Parkway <br />Elk River, MN 55330 <br />August 15, 2011 <br />Mark Riverblood <br />Parks Supervisor <br />City of Ramsey <br />7550 Sunwood Drive NE <br />Ramsey, MN 55303 <br />RE: Ramsey's Mississippi Trail Funding Application <br />Dear Mr. Riverblood, <br />The City of Elk River herby expresses its support for the City of Ramsey's application to secure <br />funding for the Mississippi River Trail project. <br />The Mississippi River Trail offers approximately 3,000 miles of on/off-road pedestrian and <br />bicycle pathways for the recreational enjoyment, health, conservation, and tourism development <br />of river communities, river states, and the nation.
