Councilmember introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION # <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE USE OF COUNCIL CONTINGENCY <br />FUNDS FOR EXPSENSES ASSOCIATED WITH A RECEPTION AT THE <br />LINKS OF NORTHFORK IN HONOR OF GRANT AWARDS TO THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Ramsey has been the recent recipient of a several grant <br />awards that support the City's initiatives for Town Center, preserving green space, and <br />improvements to the Highway 10 Corridor; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council wishes to recognize the efforts of local, county, <br />state and federal elected and appopinted officials and agencies for their work on these <br />important projects; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, city staff tentatively reserved The Links at Northfork for the <br />reception and has received a proposal from LaTourneau's Catering for the event. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY'COUNCIL OF THE <br />CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />l) <br /> <br />That the City Council of the City of Ramsey authorizes the use of Council <br />Contingency Funds in an amount not to exceed $2,000 for the a reception at The <br />Links at Northfork in honor of grant awards to the City of Ramsey. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by <br />Councilmember , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor <br />thereof: <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: <br /> <br />and the following abstained: <br /> <br />and the following were absent: <br /> <br />Whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City <br />Council this the 13th day of January 2004. <br /> <br />-171- <br /> <br /> <br />
