Most notably, this
is an important document that frames the Livable Communities Program, a voluntary program
that Ramsey participates in that provides valuable financial resources to assist Ramsey in
achieving its land use goals. Staff reviewed the City' s draft response to the Regional Housing
Policy Plan and recommended the Planning Commission adopt the draft response.
Commission Business
Motion by Commissioner Brauer, seconded by Commissioner Maul, to recommend that City
Council adopt the draft response to the Housing Policy Plan.
Further discussion
Commissioner Brauer wanted to see equity between communities in the northern and southern
suburbs.
Motion Carried.
