City Accountant Moen stated that she did not bring a copy of the breakdown <br />expenses to the meeting, but the $1100 would be for engineering and legal <br />services for that department. <br /> <br />Case ~3: .~e~uest For A Conditional Use Permit To Conduct Ceramic Classes At <br /> <br />Her ResidenCe; Case Of Ms. Connie Harmer: <br /> <br />Ms. Harmer was present. <br /> <br />Councilmember Schlueter stated that P & Z had requested the addition of two <br />items (no retail sales and placement of fire extinguishers) which she does <br />not see in the development agreement or the proposed findings of fact. <br /> <br />Discussion ensued as to how Ms. Harmer could be restricted to no retail sales, <br />that the materials and supplies she will be selling to students will be at <br />retail price and there will be a sales tax collected. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Reimann and seconded by Councilmember Van Wagner to <br />adopt the findings of fact for Ms. Connie Harmer's conditional use permit <br />request to conduct ceramic classes at her residence located at 15331 Kangaroo <br />Street NW..~L~ '.~/i~,,~ ~ JCc~'~ ~ ~0'~ ~'~/-~ <br />Further Discussion: Couneilmember Schlueter inquired as to the inclusion <br />of the two items she previously mentioned. Mr. Berg replied that the two <br />items mentioned can be included in the contract. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Sorteberg, Reimann, <br />Schlueter and Van Wagner. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Sorteberg and seconded by Councilmember Van Wagner to <br />approve of Ms. Connie Harmer's request to conduct ceramicclasses at her <br />residence located at 15331 Kangaroo Street NW and that the following be <br />included in the development agreement: <br /> <br />a. No retail sales of finished products. <br /> <br />b. Proper placement of two fire extinguishers. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Sorteberg, Reimann, <br />$chlueter and Van Wagner. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />Council recessed at 9:00 p.m. <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec called the meeting back to order at 9:20 p.m. <br /> <br />Case #4: Community School Budget: <br /> <br />Marc Hadley was present. <br /> <br />Mr. Hadley stated that the proposed Community School budget was cut by 20%. <br />At Council's meeting in November he presented a plan for collecting additional <br />revenues but that a reinstatement of $2100 back into the budget was requested. <br /> <br />Proposed Budget $27,475 <br />City Cut 20% $ 5,495 <br />Total Approved Allocation --- $21,980 <br />Community School Adjustments- $ 3,400 <br />Requested Reinstatement of -- $ 2,100 <br /> <br />C/January 24, 1984 <br /> Page 9 of 15 <br /> <br /> <br />
