Mr. Goodrich stated that he would like City Council to authorize a closed <br />meeting of the Personnel Committee regarding labor relations and the <br />AFSCME contract. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Cox and seconded by Mayor Heitman authorizing the <br />Personnel Committee of the City Council to conduct a closed meeting <br />for the single purpose of discussing labor relations and the related <br />pending AFSCME contract in accordance with the Minnesota Open Meeting <br />Law; further that this meeting will be conducted on October 11 at 7:30 <br />a.m. at the Ramsey Municipal Center. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Heitman, Councilmembers Sorteberg, <br />Cox, Reimann and Schlueter. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />Case #1: Personnel:'(Continued) <br /> <br />Mr. Goodrich referred to Councitme~ber COx's earlier motion directing <br />that he review City employee private endeavors during duty hours at <br />City Hall and asked if Councilmember Cox had any objections to another <br />individual at his law firm conducting the review. <br /> <br />Councilmember Cox agreed to having someone at Mr. Goodrich's firm, other <br />than Mr. Goodrich, conduct the review. <br /> <br />COUNCIL NEW BUSINESS <br /> <br />Case #4: Ms. Claudia'Dodg~, Ramsay community'School'Coordinator, To Discuss <br /> Using Fire Barn For Teen'Dance: <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Cox and seconded by Mayor Heitman to approve of authorizing <br />the City fire barn facility to be used for a teen dance on Saturday, Novermber 9, <br />1985 between the hours of 5:30 p.-m. and 1:00 a.m., sponsored by the Ramsey <br />Community School. <br /> <br />Motion carried.
