Voting No: None. <br /> <br />Mr. Raatikka stated that at the last Council meeting he was directed to <br />research the possibility of constructing a ditch across the Huseby <br />property to the Mississippi River. Mr. Raatikka stated that DNR would <br />require detailed plans for such a project and the County Parks Department <br />does not want to have an open ditch on that property; they would rather <br />the drainage be accomplished with piping. <br /> <br />Council~ber Cox suggested another solution to the drainage probler, <br />other than ditching or storm sewer system, as being two outlets fro~ the <br />north side of the railroad to the river -- one west of Ramsey Blvd. and <br />one east of Rawsey Blvd. <br /> <br />Motion by Mayor Heitman and seconded by Councilwember Reimann directing <br />the City Engineer to conduct a 1hrited feasibility study identifying <br />project scope, estimated costs, construction time schedule, potential <br />upstream benefits and potential sources of revenue for a drainage outlet <br />syste~ north of the railroad to the Mississippi River. <br /> <br />Motion carried.
