stated that the Ci_t~ is obligated to keep the ditch clean; not doing so <br />assures some liability. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilme~ber Reimann and seconded by Councilmerber Sorteberg <br />directing the City Engineer to obtain some cost estimates for having the <br />ditch on the east side of Lot 4, Block 6, Barthel's Rum River Acres <br />cleaned. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Heitwan, Councilme~bers Sorteberg, <br />Cox, Reiwann and Schlueter. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />Mr. Raatikka stated that at the last Council meeting he was directed to <br />research the possibility of constructing a ditch across the Huseby <br />property to the Mississippi River. Mr. Raatikka stated that DNR would <br />require detailed plans for such a project and the County Parks Department <br />does not want to have an open ditch on that property; they would rather <br />the drainage be accomplished with piping. <br /> <br />Council~ber Cox suggested another solution to the drainage probler, <br />other than ditching or storm sewer system, as being two outlets fro~ the <br />north side of the railroad to the river -- one west of Ramsey Blvd. and <br />one east of Rawsey Blvd. <br /> <br />Motion by Mayor Heitman and seconded by Councilwember Reimann directing <br />the City Engineer to conduct a 1hrited feasibility study identifying <br />project scope, estimated costs, construction time schedule, potential <br />upstream benefits and potential sources of revenue for a drainage outlet <br />syste~ north of the railroad to the Mississippi River. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Heitman, Councilmewbers Sorteberg, <br />Cox, Reimann and Schlueter. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />Case #2: ~ <br /> <br />B. Authorize Transfer Of Funds From The Equ_ i_~rent Revolving Trust F4und To <br /> The General Fund: <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmerber Cox and seconded by Councilme~ber Schlueter to adopt <br />Resolution ~85-204 authorizing the transfer of $9,691.00 from the Equi~rent <br />Revolving Trust Fund to the General Fund. (Please refer to resolution file for <br />Resolution #84-204). <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Heit~ran, Councilme~bers Sorteberg, Cox, <br />Reimann and Schlueter. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />A. Authorize Change In 1985 City _Operational Budget; <br /> <br />Motion by Councilwe~ber Sorteberg and seconded by Councilmewber Schlueter to <br />approve of the adoption of Resolution #85-205 to increase the 1985 Street <br />Maintenance Budghet, Activity 101-3311, Line Item 452019 for the purchase of a <br />hose, piping and fittings at a cost of $4,506.00 and also Activity 101-3311, <br />Line Item 45240 for the purchase of a pt~p at a cost of $5,185.00.
